We are on Air Canada Flight 8984, with service from Toronto-Pearson International Airport (YYZ) to LaGuardia Airport (LGA). We are in Embraer E175 C-FXJC, as we take-off from Runway 06L at Toronto-Pearson and land on Runway 4 at LaGuardia. While taking off from Toronto-Pearson, we see Antonov AN-124 RA-82078 as it sits at the end of the tarmac, held by the Canadian government as a response to the Russian war in the Ukraine. As we make our approach to LaGuardia, we take the scenic route down the Hudson River, around New York Harbor at Staten Island, up the East River over Brooklyn and Queens, before finally landing on Runway 4. Enjoy the sounds of the GE CF34-8E5A1 engines as they spool up, as well as the great views of New York City as we make our approach to LaGuardia.
