ive had my scx6 since they came out and i absolutely love it. other than a big beefy expensive servo i haven't felt the need to do anything. finally had my first failure last week but it was just a driveshaft, the pins fell apart but i could get the truck home still. i want a honcho too, maybe my wife will need one for christmas haha

Nice! I am just getting started with this one so I’ll slowly learn/modify. I just grabbed some dual stage foams, and can already see some tire wear, this one has the Falken Wildpeaks, I have a pair of hyrax g8s on the way as they had promo when buying so will prob make a video on those when I get them.

Awesome, it’s a good time and a different experience with a crawler this size. My camera setup is pretty basic, I am honestly just using an iPhone 12 Pro set to 4K at 30fps. I have a GoPro mounting starter pack with a phone vice/mount. I had to upgrade to a better laptop to edit the 4K video well in real-time though.

About 27 inches, the bumpers add about 2 for a total of 29

I am using spektrum 3s 5000mah 50 and 100c, they last a long time crawling, could prob get 1.5-2 hrs out of them, running on a long trail would deplete them a bit faster. It only requires one but carries two.

are you afraid of it tipping over? i feel like i would be. 1k$ usd tipping over just like that.

First flip hurts the most for sure! But I don’t need it in perfect condition, each scar tells a tale. I like to use it and push the limits of tipping and sometimes it just happens. Can always get a replacement body down the line if I want or need it, still expensive for a body but cheaper than the whole unit.
