I finally got the GT350 wheels mounted up on the 2021 GT500 using a hub-centric spacer from CJ Pony Parts. This will help in many ways as they are a 19-inch wheel so I will have more sidewall than the factory 20-inch wheels, I also am not nervous about having tires installed on these as I am with the factory carbon fiber wheels. While I am waiting for my Mickey Thompson ET Streets to arrive I decided to take the 2021 GT500 back to the drag strip to see if we could improve on our times from the factory tires.

Glad you got it launching better,
Pulling for you... you will get it done with the cooler air and stickier tires.
Sucks you didn't hit the 10s but you are so close.I have to say your video style/Editing is excellent......This channel is going to be very successful.
Awesome burnout.lol.
What size spacer did you use if you don’t mind me asking?
What spacer did you use for the gt350 wheels
Dang, that was nice.😕🙂🤓🤠😎😏👍✌️👋👏💪🌾🍀🌿🍃🇺🇸
Do a bigger burnout. About 5 seconds is optimal on these cars. Around 18-20 psi cold in the toyos. 3200 rpm launch with hook up if prep is decent.
Should be a mid 10 second car on sticky tires.
Toyo autocross tires are only 1 tenth faster than Michelins in the 60ft and they dont hook anything under or over 32psi warm.If you put a couple of white pieces of paper under that tire at different pressures you will see any high or lower than 32ish the contact patch begins to shrink itself and the tire imprint is not as strong.Where they really shine is on the street where they are just as good if not better than a drag radial at everyday tire pressure on everyday asphalt.

Wrong. 18-20psi is optimal for the r888r on the drag strip
What are your 60’ times? Stock car needs to get 1.7xx to get in the 10’s.

@@camirocz Did you read my reply? You are saying that Stock 2020 and up GT500’s have ran deep in the 10’s with a 60’ higher than 1.7?
Keep trying … well done hitting your best time. Track prep seems to get worst each run.
