That’s for showing like @gueladio ba I appreciate it, and you can wear a bonnet to protect your hair at night , and if ur hair is at least 4 inches in length you can start putting your hair in protective styles , id recommend stright backs ✊🏾

Hey kozact, this not really related but did u have a routine for your hair when it was really short (like under 4 inches)? If so, could you share it? my hair under 4 inches and I don't know if I'm doing things right. I normally put some water, detangle then add a blend of oils and rub into the scalp and hair, pick it again to distribute the oil and then add cantu shea butter leave in. Is that OK?

I put my hair up in a bun when I go to sleep, keeps ur hair from moving while u sleep and then I put a bonnet on , I also sleep with a silk pillowcase

I’d say in between let your hair and scalp rest for a week at least the your good to get braids again

Why do you split them at the root instead of untwisting from the ends?

they get frizzy when u pull apart the ends

When u do take the braids or twist out do you have to wash it first before you see more definition I saw ppl take theirs out wash And then twist w curling stuff let dry and twist out again I’m new to this and want to do it Saturday for class can anyone help me out

make sure you're sleeping with a silk or satin cap or pillowcase because you might have too much breakage at that one point. hair won't grow fast if breakage exceeds growth. if the rest is growing then your hair is healthy

Just ask your loctican or whatever to leave the baby hairs alone when retwisting and parting then ask barber to line said baby hairs up I did this as well and looks 10x better
