I've played this game for years and years and never got remotely close to being this lucky. Nice video!
This is almost frustrating to watch as to how lucky you were on this. Status changing the opponents. Not getting hit by your confusions. And of course that last battle with dragonair. Absolutely mind boggling!

it's the only way to win with rentals in this game! 95% of the time, the CPU is rolling the stupidest dices on you, so you REALLY have to seize the opportunities on the 5%!

i suggest you the rom hacks Inclement Emerald and Radical Red, they're pretty challenging and interesting
Imagine if the current games were like this. No matter what you had to choose only 3 Pokemon before going into battle with the Elite 4 & you wouldn't get the heads up on which Pokemon is coming next or get the chance to switch after you KO their Pokemon. Now that would be a challenge.
I just got done with the Elite 4 & let me tell you … they are the struggle . I had to experiment with different Pokémon. 😭😭 the MVP were umbreon , milktank , steelix ,& slowbro along with lapras and charzarid . The rental Pokémon don’t have the best moves.

Impressive. That is really hard to do, especially in R-2.
I knew i wasnt tripping. The rental pokemon has stuff that doesnt benefit them making it harder. At the same time i think this was by design and i am proud of it.

I hate how Dark type moves were Special when they should have been Physical.

yeah, and they were still Special in gen 3! every single Dark-type move released before the split (faint attack, bite, crunch, knock off) became physical after the gen 4 split lmao
i was just attempting this last night, the rental pokemon are so shitty, i never made it past bruno
