This is the most beautiful take-off video I've ever seen - thanks so much for this. I've always loved the views flying into/out of San Diego and Los Angeles.

Great Video. We just spent 8 wonderful days in San Diego in early April, 2012. It my first visit there and it was very nice.

I had the pleasure of experiencing the exact same takeoff this past Saturday on a flight to Atlanta. Took off out over the water and pulled a U-turn over the Pacific...I was sitting in a window seat on the left side as well. Pretty cool to re-live this through your video. Thanks for sharing!

Awesome video! I used to live in San Diego in the 80s and I never grow tired of seeing footage from that great city! Amazing quality, even while zooming in! This is why Sony is always my first choice for camcorders! Top marks to you!

I can see the San Diego Sheraton Hotel & Marina at 1:04. That's where I stayed my last trip to San Diego. It was really noisy with the planes coming in for a landing and taking off.

From the top left to the top right side of the KZread screen is Interstate HWY 5 @ 5:42 I-5 intersects with CA State Route 75 aka the "Coronado Bay Bridge".

@wero8a1 im using a Sony HDR CX-150 camcorder (1080 HD) the file i uploaded is a AVCHD file.....straight from the camera the original file is 60 fps....but when you upload to KZread they bring it down to 30 fps max.... so the file i have on my computer is a lot smoother than the one everyone sees here on KZread... Thanks!

I have wanted to film that but have been concerned that if I kept my camcorder on I would land up having to answer to the TSA,FBI, Homeland Security, etc,... for not obeying the stewardess when she says to shut down all electronic devices. All the local news would have me on the evening edition, as a terror suspect. LoL

they never let me have my camera on anymore when i fly =/
