Hey guys, I’m currently a 14 year old who loves cars, and especially Camaros. I’ve read things online about how bad they are with the blind spots, but I know I can work around it. Im getting a job and if I work hard enough I’ll have one of these in a few years. I’ll update whenever I’ve achieved my goal of obtaining one of these beautiful cars.

Dude best of luck! That was right around the same time I became obessed with these 5th gen camaros bro. Save as much as a you can and if you have any support from friends and finally, leverage it! These are amazing cars to learn the fundamentals of V8, RWD sports cars!

Bro not sure if you already did suspension work but Lakewood has the solid trailind arms and toe rods for $25 and $125 respectively which is less than half what they used to be. Snatch you some and it will help keep the back end in line

Yo I quite have a question . Can I take a 5th gen Camaro SS to work daily ? Or only for hangouts because a friend told me it’s not good to take a 600hp car to work daily but what about the 400hp like this Camaro ?

I’m about to pick up a clean, garage kept collector’s 2010 2SS base (no sunroof or Ground Effects bodykit). I already bought all the stuff for a mild tune-up (oils, fluids, etc.), and I bought some minor aesthetic things like window visors and smoked side markers. I did get the manual (6MT), so I also got the skip shift eliminator solenoid wiring. Did you install that or no? I found it really annoying during test drives (mostly cold starts), but I knew I could do a bit “extra” to stop the lockouts from happening. I would rather just naturally be able to shift into 2nd at any given time. I’m used to babying the gearbox in manuals a bit longer, typically. I have a short shifter and it seems to not like quick shifting on dead cold starts. I usually also have a habit of running through the gears while at a stop.

That is exactly how my Chevy SS sounds. My car is stick shift also. My exhaust is ARH long tubes to ARH high flow catalytic mid pipes to Solo axle-backs. If I did a POV it would look and sound the same. Haha! What is your POV camera setup? I need to make a video like this someday.

Id hate for you to blow it up. Not because of how you drive it, but because its assumed you have little regard to the fuel guage. Unless that fuel guage is inaccurate. Id never risk the tank being that low. Then again my fuel system is an upgrade twin system and I'm boosted so on my setup it's highly not recommend having less than a quarter tank just because of the style of the system designed and doing hard pulls.

Ngl, I've owned my 2011 RS in Synergy for about a year. Wife wants it for her daily, she LOVES driving it. I have the MRT v1 exhaust on it, so I want something throatier (like a V8! :)). I found a garage-kept 2011 2SS in Synergy I'm looking at, it's an auto but so is my RS. Seeing your videos has really pulled me away from wanting a Challenger (and all the issues I see people having). Thanks for the help, even if you didn't intend it. :) Will update if I pull the trigger.
