Taking My ABSURD Modified Aventador SVJ In For Service (See The Final Bill)

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Most people think it costs as much as $10k for a simple oil change on an exotic. In this video, I take my Aventador SVJ (Lambo's most expensive car) to the dealership to show you how much it cost me for the annual service.

I love ECH, but I own a 08 Maserati GT, and though it is EXTREMELY easy to work on yourself and do basically every type of service in your own garage, these cars will cost thousands if you take it to maserati/Ferrari dealers to service; the parts are also substantially more. DIY mechanics don’t have much to fear though.

@@ExoticCarHacks No need for name calling man, it was an honest observation by more than one person. Your explanation makes sense but the video was not apparent and nobody here was accusing you of anything, it was just a funny observation. You need to be thick skinned when you're a KZreadr, and laugh along with people when you're not being directly attacked. Keep it on the cool side, you'll get more quality sponsors that way. This is just entertainment for most people.

I’m also sitting on a 300k profit on my 2021 SVJ Roadster! The replacement won’t be out until 2024 so I think in the spring we might is a jump over the 1 million mark. 😎

I guess the whole point is showing what new cars cost to maintain cuz that thing in 8 years is going to cost a fortune! 🤪 I respect the work you do but I think your a little off to think 1300 is great for an oil change not forgetting the tire torqueing!🙄🤔 what is that take $200 in oil at most? When people talk about maintenance they're talking a little bit more than just oil changes. They're talkin tires and God forbid you hit a pothole and need to buy a new Rim that cost god-knows. That kind of stuff isn't cheap. God forbid you put 10,000 miles on it a year. But if you can afford those kind of things and it appears you definitely can, then have at it they're beautiful cars no doubt!😬 Buying new is the only way to go for the average guy otherwise when it's out-of-warranty Lookout!🤪

hmmm..i change the oils filters and brake fluids myself on the exotics, most of them dont exceed more than $200 including filters washers and oil. The huracan is even better it's the same as the r8 procedure under $200 on my performante. Havent done a v12 lambo so unsure of the cost, but most v8 ferraris are even easier or about the same. Porsche gt cars are super easy to work on, there's not even underbody to remove. But PJ here is flipping the cars and need a solid presentable record, so paying the dealers is a small price to keep that relationship. Most dealers screw me over and I am not flipping so i feel a lot better doing it myself or having a master tech friend do it for even less. But seriously that SVJ fucks hard LOL 😀

Most of the cost in servicing exotics is parts and labor markup since the customer base is less price-sensitive. There's also the pervasive belief that even though most exotics now borrow heavily from their more mainstream corporate parents that they're still unreliable and require fastidious maintenance. Thus, maintenance records equal substantially better value, even if they require no more maintenance than a garden variety Audi or VW.
