That's an incredibly beautiful dagger Will, I was wondering about 2 things that I'm sure you could answer, 1) Does the different marine life that formed the flint make a marked difference to the quality and hardness 2) Can you identify other flint knappers work, as in can you see a finished piece and know it was made by a particular flint knapper, this was a fascinating vid man, Bravo!

"gild the lily" comes to mind. It was like watching a horror movie where you know what's going to happen but you don't know when.

From the scars on your hands, I see the flint gods require a blood sacrifice from time to time. A good recovery from the ashes.

I don't know how taxes are paid in the UK , but here in the US , you could subtract a portion of the cost of your trip as business expenses against your earned income . I always enjoy watching craftsman make things.

Hey Will! Do you have any experience researching North American flint knapping or Have you ever looked into a U.S.A trip? We have some challenging materials but Native American Ingenuity created some astonishing styles of knapping. I’d love to hear your thoughts/experience with it. Your patience and attitude is something every knapper can aspire to. 🤘🏼 Be well Friend!
