Good luck with your S650 - great color. I’m struggling with the decision on buying an S650. I stone cold love my 2018 GT Premium, PP1, 6 speed, with active valve exhaust. 60,000+ miles and it puts a big smile on my face every time I start it up. My big hang up is the iPad dash 😬 Happy motoring 🤠

Thank you! It’s because its a base model and not a premium - only premiums have the single screen, though its actually the same screens/functionality with a different bezel/glass to connect them.

Sorry to keep bugging you couple more questions. Is the car hard to "see" out of? I'm a bit afraid of the longer hood and scratching/denting it

@RuSHWiZaRd no problem at all. Yes the hood is long and the bumper is invisible, but you get used to judging the distance pretty quick.

I like those new mustangs but the back I’m still skeptical. It just looks weak in the back to me. It doesn’t have that mean muscular look in the back but the front is google interior. Wonderful.

$50k? Beautiful color and that V8 sound. Kept it within an affordable price point without the Premium and Performan e options. Looks good and the drive is probably nice around town as a daily. Right?

I had an X-plan discount so it was a bit cheaper than that. I went base model for weight considerations as I drag race. It’s ~350lbs lighter than a premium/PP. It’s an extremely capable/comfortable car driving around town.

@@MurphysLawGarage - Good decision to go base, especially when going to modify for drag racing etc etc. I like the Mustang GT a lot but feel it’s a bit expensive. However it’s getting one like yours if you love that V8 plus I like the manual too. I was close to buying one for $50k with the Performance options only. Like yours except with manual and PP1. I liked the green or race red with blackout look. Anyway I went with a BMW X3 - practical and more of a daily. (Have a Miata as my toy!)

Puts a plate on that says noisy, then revs the quietest mustang h e ever heard lol.. it doesn’t even have the active exhaust dude.. wtf. That is hands down the best option ever added to a vehicle.. down the road if you want super loud and quiet all in one you can actually do it. What a dumb license plate lol… 😂

The plate came from my previous car, and if you watched the videos that came after this you’d see the exhaust setup that was later put on. I ordered the car without active exhaust to save weight - yes it matters, this car currently holds the “stock” S650 1/4 mile record.

@@MurphysLawGarage you modded it after this video so it isn’t stock? Stock means everything the way the car came. Stock for the s650 is actually 11.71 in Florida bro.. so you weren’t even close.. pretty sure your stock car was like 12.30 or something..

@xGR1MxREAPERx actually, fully stock it went 11.90’s in trash air - again, I have the videos here on the channel. Watch them, get educated. The exhaust/suspension is no more advantageous as the cars with magnaride and active exhaust or do they get a pass…Micro record is a micro record. Regardless, with more than 100 passes down the track in this car its ability to run a number at all its limited modifications have been well documented.

@@MurphysLawGarage I don’t care what you “think” stock means stock down to the carbon intake traps and everything. STOCK: the way the car came from the factory. The cars with magnaride and active exhaust are STOCK!! So no you arnt the fastest stock car as yours went 12.30 without exhaust and springs etc.. so soem research on what stock means I guess since you clearly don’t understand. Go to a track that has a stock car only day and watch as you get kicked off the track for AFTERMARKET EXHAUST AND SPRINGS!! You look like a smart guy just stop before you make yourself look dumber..
