Complains about the car being dirty. Minutes later washes the car with a stiff brush and puts millions of micro scratches in the clear coat. I'd take dirty rain water before that quick car wash. That hurt watching that brush being being drug across it.

That's how all Corvettes come to any dealership, I work at a Chevy dealership and they all come wrapped up and dirty

I'd be pissed if I bought a brand new car and the inside and outside was that dirty and it was chipped. Especially after paying over $100,000 for the car

Actually it looks like it sat through a rain in Bowling Green. From time to time we have very dirty rain. Case in point, I washed my car and parked it last night. I woke up this morning and it had rained. It looked like someone threw dirty water on it and let it dry.

I would be PISSED if my brand new car was filthy.

Well what do you want, factory installed swirl marks and scratches, or for it to be detailed properly by competent people who wont ruin the paint? as dealers detail in volume and just do a quick shine and buff without any Swirl remover at all. also with the Chinese pandemic going on, your lucky your getting the car at all, hell its a wonder he didnt get a buick by accident given that is the communist car of choice over there.

ZED M8 I’m guessing the dealership guys had it outside, and the engine bay opened and it rained. Then they probably rushed to get it to August (across the ferry, then shipped via train?), it likely came down to a ‘send it dirty/as soon as possible’ or ‘hold off and get it cleaned before shipping it’, and I’m guessing the guys weren’t willing to wait any longer. Remember a lot of staffers here are still not going to work, so they may not have had a detailed available and knowing it was headed on an trip to August, so it’d kinda be pointless to detail it before sending it. The scratches in the door ain’t acceptable. And the dealership should owe them a full detail.

I swear there’s a switch on the mirror to make it into a normal one

Theres no real room for a blower. The nose of the blower would hit the firewall. You'd have to cut the firewall to make the belt system for the blower to work on-top of the motor.

I think new cars mostly do not allow you to use full power and have limited power until like 500km/miles. Anyway high revs for couple seconds should not damage new engine. What would be worse though is keeping the engine in high revs/full power for longer period of time - like going 200+kmh on Autobahn for half hour etc.

This thing is electronicly limited to a certain amount of rpm. Once it teached the milage u can give it a couple thousand more rpm gas
