What he missed in the discussion is that our rainbow has always been represented by seven colors-violet, indigo, blue, green, yellow, orange, and red. In the Bible “seven” conveys perfection, completion. The homosexual flag is six colors. In the Bible, “six” is used as the number of man.

The original LGBTQ+ flag was actually eight colors, the other two being hot pink and turquoise. Due to a shortage of hot pink cloth at the time, the pink stripe was dropped, leaving seven colors. And turquoise was dropped for aesthetic reasons later. In the current Progress LGBTQ+ flag, there are again eight colors, with brown and black stripes. So your numerology might not be the most solid argument here. But then again, who am I to judge? Astrology, tarot cards, numerology and the like can occasionally be used to make sense of the universe! I hope it works for you all here!

The rainbow is a reminder that God would not flood the entire world again.

Judgement and love are not sides of God, they are both part of His love. Real love, God's love, does judge the rightness and wrongness of those being loved. So, please don't separate judgment from love and think that judgement is not loving. In Christ, Andrew P.S. I don't mean to be harsh with my words, but I do want to stress that we can not receive God's salvitic love and pass it onto others without a firm grounding in His loving judgement.

This is a good, informative video. What I do not agree with is that in his article from the link above he denounces eternal security/salvation. He quotes Ephesians 5:5-7 and emphasizes that "once saved, always saved" are empty words.

The rainbow contains the full color spectrum. How many colors human language has is largely arbitrary.

This was a thought provoking episode. However, the conversation takes the stance that someone is not saved. What if someone is LGBT+, Christian (one who believes in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ on the cross), and has no past sexual trauma? How can these coexist?

As an ex-homosexual, I would say that we have no place to judge anyone's salvation (Romans 2:1), so yes, someone may still be in the error of homosexuality, and call upon the Lord and only the Lord knows the heart. No sin is irredeemable. However, no one honest uses the terminology "LGBT+" to refer to themselves. We are called to a new identity in Christ, I do not identify as anything based on sex, which is a carnal mindset. My identity is not defined by my body or its impulses. The idea that there is any "I" outside of Christ is wrong. As an ex-homosexual who is now part of the church, I can tell you the church is very loving and very accepting of those who have made this error. There is more hate from the homosexual lobby against people like me because I am an ex-homosexual who threatens their narrative. They (the homosexual lobby) want to deny my existence. NOBODY denies their existence. The church is being very kind to those in this error, but they are angry at the church because they don't want to admit its an error. The answer to your question is that a Christian simply is honest about homosexuality being an error. It does not condemn those who understand its an error, even if they are still trapped in it.

Actually, you might want to listen again, there were several things communicated, like most do not realize the duality of the promise of not flooding the Earth by water, but there is a promise that the Earth WILL BE JUDGED AGAIN... by FIRE. This is a hidden meaning that you do not get from the Genesis story, but must study your Bible.
