@@fadzila3 I've loved TBS ever since this record...but they haven't sounded good live since Louder Now, hahahaha. TBS is notorious for sounding very meh live. It's just that raw emotion with Adam's belting and how sporadic they play. It doesn't always sound the best, but we always get that raw and unfiltered TBS performance. But THIS performance, holyyyyy shiiiit. The energy and performance is SOOO so good!!! 10/10 a great performance, especially with it being 2013

Yeah Man I wish they always sounded like this. Have yet to see them live and watched about a half dozen live shows but do they generally sound better on the TAYF songs? John sings alot on this album but can’t tell as much on the other albums.

Oh man, there were NO good videos of The Ballad of Sal Villanueva from this tour on KZread. Thank you!! Also, 20:30 when I saw them in 2012 he kept repeating "I'm in your room" and then told us all he was too old to say "Am I turning you on?" anymore lol

I can't remember exactly - it's been 20 years but if I remember correctly Jesse Lacey wrote the song after leaving Taking Back Sunday and having the nerve (I don't have any opinion on it I love both bands) to either work with a section of a song that he contributed / wrote in his own original song, to articulate the same point in a different context, but that it was effectively a Taking Back Sunday song that they all had written (while Jesse was bassist) that Taking Back Sunday kept through line up changes. I can not swear this is true but this is what I think (what I am convinced) that someone told me twenty years ago. I remember I was listening to both for about a year - if not more - not sure why they both had that section in different songs on each debut album.

@@dsxa918 Seventy times 7 is about John Nolan getting with a girl he was interested in, and No I in Team is a response to Seventy times 7. The 'best friends means i pulled the trigger" is a reference/response to "when you say best friends means friends forever".

I went to the TAYF10 date in Philly and it was one of the best shows I’ve ever been to ❤

Jimmy Eat World and TBS come to mind when it comes to third wave emo that is grounded in the genre that broke into mainstream pretty well. Brand New was there, too, I'd say. I know people cite other bands like MCR, but being 34, I don't remember any people who enjoyed emo and also liked MCR. Nothing wrong with enjoying whatever you want though

They actually do.. This video is only songs from Tell All Your Friends.. They actually played another entire set-list of songs from their other albums.. I'm not entirely sure where to find that video, but I do know if you look up their song (Flicker Fade, Live) you should be able to find that other video. I remember TBS debuted Flicker Fade at this show.. hope that helps 🤘

Neil Rubenstein. He did the screams on the original album version as well as the ones during There’s No I in Team and Timberwolves at New Jersey. He also did background vocals during “Slowdance on the Inside” on Where You Want to Be

Adam lost a bunch of weight between Fall 2012 and summer 2013, so that probably helped. I saw them a month after this show and they were amazing. Probably the best I’d ever seen them play, but I think in 2017/2018 is when they started losing their touch live plus with Eddie leaving the band it just hasn’t been the same since. Then they did their 20th anniversary tour for basically a whole year which had to be rough on Adam’s voice. I love this band so much but I think that they ought to consider lowering the key to their songs again for the next tour or two that they do so Adam’s voice doesn’t continue getting beat up.

Lol he sounds mostly the same now, he's never been a good singer, he had a cool voice from like 2004-2007 but bad habits like chain smoking and not taking care of his voice or himself made him completely lose it

Was hoping to hear their songs *"Liar"* , *"A Decade Under The Influence"* , *"This Photograph Is Proof"* and/or *"MakeDamnSure"* but still a great setlist and performance!!!

Dude idk who that other vocalist is but he sucks. I’m an OG TBS fan and this hurts my ears to listen to. Adam’s voice has really taken a nosedive as well. Makes me sad :( not even close to the same band they used to be

I’m a huge TBS fan since the cd era but that backup vocalist cannot sing I’m sorry he’s terrible
