i think it would be really cool to see a strong opm merchant republic in one of the two desert connections between north and west/central africa maybe give bonuses to mercenaries for lore reasons like needing lots of mercenary companies to keep the passage safe

I love that more nations outside of Europe are getting content. I adore this mod, but I’ve always been somebody who enjoys playing in Asia the most. In the future if east Asia ever gets an update, I dream for a beefy Khmer/Cambodia with a unique mission tree, and a shaking up of the China region, possibly starting China off in a slightly more fragmented state to provide unique gameplay compared to the usual thicc China we get at normal game start. But that’s just me, I do get the vibe that this mod is more focused on the Europe region, however, the day that east Asia gets more content I will be very happy. I’m happy seeing this update as is, can’t wait to play!

Something that makes it more likely for AI Illyria to convert to Evengelos would be cool considering how Christianity started spreading in Illyria since the 1st century by St. Paul (as we know from Romans 15:19) and how many important Christian figures were Illyrian (such as St. Jerome en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jerome , Constantine the Great en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Constantine_the_Great , etc).

So Rome was defeated but everything is still named in Latin? I don't see why events like the Hungarian conquest of the Carpathian basin wouldn't happen either just because Rome lost, especially since Asia seems rather untouched by these events. Just overall uncanny and a little bit stupid, but interesting nonetheless.

I like this mod but I hope that eastern europe gets eventually remade, it feels a bit boring, maybe some tiny rus state rising against mongols could spice things up there

Yeah I mean a lot of the regions need little updates, I feel like Eastern Europe must be one of the ones that’s coming sooner rather than later, considering there are more new tags there that don’t have focus trees yet.

How does Islam even exist in this timeline? I feel like Christianity can be justified as there’s still a good chance for someone to claim to be the Jewish messiah and form a religion, but Islam feels a lot more specific in its existence
