I got Truthwatcher. Truthwatchers are more concerned with the fundamental truths of the universe, and whether or not those in power (anyone in general) are being truthful with the people they lead (or people in general). A small minority of Truthwatchers are greatly concerned with the actions of the powerful (or people in general) and might be likened to investigative reporters (or just perceptive without digging). These make their opinions known loudly and forcefully (even if wrong sometimes).

Im a Lightweaver! One of the ones i was predicting for myself. My girlfriend tied Windrunner and Skybreaker so she insist that shes a Windbreaker.

I got the result of lightweaver. At first I was upset but after thinking about it for a bit I find that it fits me.

You two answering the questions on behalf of each other is the cutest idea! And one I've always wanted to try with my fiancé, even if it's just silly online quizzes.

This was awesome. I can't wait to do this, even moreso since I have no idea what any of those results are!!

82% lightweaver, 82 % willshaper do I get two spren? It did pick Lightweaver but the percentages were the same so i want both spren. I love that, the things I could do with some illusions.

(TG) Lightweaver Squad! I was actually surprised at that. But Shallan's character has grown on me more with each book so that's cool to have something in common with her! Also very cool how Sean answers the "questions" and the percentages he used. Very Close with the top two! This was fun.

Elsecaller here. I have a reading personality test as well. 😛 Whether people have read Lois Mcmaster Master Bujold's Vorkosigan series or not? Bonus point for the "Curse of Chalion" That's pretty much it. More bonus points if they've read the entire Dan Simmons Hyperion cantos series. Yes... I got Lightweaver by a pretty big margin, but Windrunner was right after that lol. And my personal choice, Edgedancer, was 3rd, so not bad :)

I got Edgedancer. It was fairly accurate.

I took the plunge! These are the results (of 69 yr old male): 70% Edgedancer, 63% Truthwatcher, 61% Windrunner. My two lowest: 36% Stoneward, 31% Dustbringer. As to the Test page's definition of Edgedancer I do, in theory if not always in practice, align myself with much that is written of them. However, in real life I'm likely one of the least religious minded people alive. In any case I'm not at all dissatisfied with my classification. This reminds me that, long ago, I took a similar test to determine which Song of Fire and Ice character I most resemble. This was very early in the cycle. Only book one was out, maybe two. Maybe not. Anyway, turns out I'm Samwell Tarly. I couldn't/can't disagree, especially as I was significantly overweight at the time (but no longer). I suspect I'd get a like result today, even with weight no longer a factor.

I've taken the test a few different times, so..... Is it any surprise that I'm a Lightweaver? 😂 Although I've also gotten Truthwatcher a few times too, which is also a perfect fit

I took the quiz a few months ago and got Willshaper and Elsecaller (1% difference). It’s an interesting quiz. 😁

I got Elsecaller at 27%, that was the highest result. Truthwatcher was 11%, Dustbringer at 3%, Stoneward and Skybreaker at 1%, and everything else in the negatives.

Willshaper 74, followed by Lightweaver at 67. Kinda knew that.

I got Edgedancer, but it was at only like 65%

I got Lightweaver.

Laughed so hard that Sean answered differently. Loved taking that test, I ended up as an edgedancer

My favourite character is also Kaladin, but I am definitely not a Windrunner (unfortunately as I would love to have their powers), when I did the test I got Elsecaller, which is exactly what I was expecting ^^ To be fair Jasnah is the most interesting character to me, I'm dying for her backstory

There are too many false binaries in this quiz. I've never been someone who believes there's a dichotomy between rationality and compassion. One of my favorite characters in books is Lyra Belacqua specifically because she's not like the "logical" adults around her, she is whip smart and an excellent liar but she's driven by what's in her heart.

But if she is driven by "what's in her heart" she is, by definition, not rational (which does not imply that her actions are irrational). And the dichotomy between "compassionate" and "dispassionate" is very clear IMO.

@@peterhoelder2652 of course some dude comes on here to explain rationality to me. Listen, if I was humans were so obsessed with facts and Logic we wouldn't have survived as a species. We have emotional intelligence for a reason, and this high and mighty male intellectualism of the modern day ala Jordan Peterson is based in misogyny and misanthropy. I don't have time to explain it all for you, but some supplemental reading on this stuff would really help you understand how that mindset is particularly toxic. Read anything by Judith Butler, Simone de Beauvoir, NK Jemisin etcetera.

It's often unfair and frankly dishonest to categorize humans as completely rational or emotional or to treat those as constantly in black and white. It's just nonsense.

this is totally unrelated to the video but I just want to rant for a second about my own freaking stupidity. potential spoilers for the mistborn trilogy I guess, but I dont know. what happened was, I was on reddit and someone asked for book recommendations for "main character dies midway and new main character takes over" and I knew, I knewww before I clicked on it that it would spoil something. but because I'm a foolish idiot who does before she thinks, before I could stop myself I had clicked and scrolled a little down and there i saw a comment "I think mistborn has something like this" and "I always thought vin was the main character of mistborn." now, I dont know for certain if this is a spoiler, or if this character named vin dies or not, but, I guess they must, right? if mistborn was mentioned? but i dont know for certain. and I'm so mad at myself because it was all me being such an IDIOT and mistborn is a trilogy I'm really excited to read someday and I potentially spoiled my own self for it urrrrrggghhh I'm so salty rn

There are a lot of heartbreaking scenes in Mistborn, but I don’t think you’ve totally spoiled yourself here. I think that will make more sense once you read it, but I’d say you’re good to go :)

I did it the first time and got Truthwatcher, did it a second time and tried to get Dustbringer, but failed and got Truthwatcher again. Then did it a third time some time after and surprise, Truthwatcher. I'm resigned at this point.
