It'll be awhile before those tulips bloom. Unless you let the greenery dry out and die completely, there's not much of a chance it will bloom next year. Those leaves soaking in the sun energizes the bulb so it will bloom the next year. Maybe the year after though? I'm anxious to see if you do get any blooms from them next year.

The grasses are meant to have the plooms though. 😢 That's what makes them so desirable. They were so pretty!!

Great information on the Tulip Festival. It's so beautiful and I'm glad you liked it. I marched in the parade almost 50 years ago. I didn't know that about taking the bulbs. I may have to take a little trip next year, it's been a while since I've been there. We're not too far from there.

I used to take a couple of days with my daughter and go to Pigeon Forge, because she loved shopping and swimming. Then I’d come home and my son and I would take the four wheeler into the woods and camp for a couple of days and fish and hike. I miss those wonderful years. Glad to see moms still do those mini vacations with their kiddos! 🥰 BTW, I sure do envy your ability to use your Instant Pot! I still haven’t mastered mine.🤦🏻‍♀️ I used to have a bred machine and wore it out. Didn’t know they still made them! Everything looks delish, as always! You’re so lucky to get those tulips! Hope you have a good return on them next spring! 💐

where do you get your yogurt culture and how much gelatin did you put in? I make our yogurt and currently heat it to 180 but thinking of going back to adding gelatin and keeping it "raw"- it's been a long time though so I don't remember how I used to do it!
