flex thrust generally increase fuel burn compared to toga .

When in doubt, flat out!

I'm using my very old HOTAS Cougar F-16 stick. I plan to get the Airbus version, but the solid feel of the F-16 stick is unmatched. Ya, but weird since it's actually designed for a right handed side stick. Lol! I'll try out your settings!

@@V1Sim The settings work pretty well, but I still float it! I'll try a "carrier" landing just to get the feel lol!

One problem I keep struggling with is when ATC assigns an approach and I select that through the arrivals page, there are times the airplane wants to turn around and backtrack before heading directly to the next waypoint. This happens most of the time but it’s not 100% consistent. Any thoughts? Thanks for the videos, super helpful!

It's not always the case that the fuel consuption is less with Flex Take Off coz you reach cruising altitude at a later stage.

V1-Sim >> Does the MSFS 2020 A320 "feel" fairly natural to you? And how does it compare to an XP11 FF A320, or ToLiss A321? * I've been tweaking XP11 for quite awhile, including Orbx TrueEarth scenery, but keep wondering about MSFS 2020 because of the excellent graphics.

Aren't ground spoilers to be retracted after flap zero? And armed after gear down during approach. That's what the qrh says.

What do we mean by sequencing the flight plan? Why do we always pull the heading after sequencing the plan and which point do we consider to sequence the Dolan from?

when i max to the toga the engine cuts off. Not sure what i'm doing wrong with my settings

yes normally at 10,000 feet we do. I will cover this tho in greater detail in a future video

@@V1Sim Please also consider the online networks such as VATSIM SOP. It's my impression that they prefer you wait until about when you reach the "Decel" point.

CAPT when your flying in real life does your operator want you to use flex on every takeoff when it meets the requirements you went over?

I believe I remember him answering this on a stream a while ago. I believe his operator prefers them to use Flex MCT when able but they leave it up to the Pilot’s discretion

I think i read it somewhere that there are only certain routes that shows the TOD. So not every flight you do will have the TOD shown on your ND. Might be wrong about this so take it with a grain of salt haha

I simply can't use A10 warthog sidestick as airbus controller it ruins the feel completely

you using a mod or something? cos my msfs is not as realistic as yours. my engines sound different and it won’t let me push 90% of the buttons. and it also won’t let me configure the mcdu.
