It would be so great if the community could contribute on this. Like a community section where members could upload their own custom made refrence footage

I'm a martial artist and an artist. I'm just now getting into animation and have been trying to film my own stuff. It's hard. Lots of work. Motion lab is incredible!!! There is no way this isn't useful for all illustrators and animators. 👏🎉

i love this, i watch a lot of sakuga, action scenes, travel vlogs, and things like Corridor Crew's react series to find references for my projects. Incredible stuff, definitely down to support and use! I also suggest adding a community section cuz theres a lot that make their own references and might want to add to it for free

Thank you! A community section would be so cool 😮 I will talk with Jani and CaperCube (our programmer) about how we could make that a thing. So far the best thing we have is the reference thread on the animator guild discord group, but I can see ways of taking the idea way further - maybe a way of users and guests picking out key poses for other people's uploaded references

I wish I could help you make some movements but I’m super swamped with drama at my own home. I’m desperately trying to put time for my animation and art. I’m just glad that one day when i finally get out of my 6-3 I’ll be able to help more directly for all animators.

Choreographing good martial arts scenes is what makes some of the best anime out there, Jujutsu Kaisen and others, it's the best part of what happened with Castlevania apart from Character Design that was also awesome, only second to vampire hunter d bloodlust. I believe this really makes or breaks an animation project that is based on action scenes, obviously the camera angles and all the boarding before that has a big role into the whole thing but choreographing good action scenes really puts the icing on the cake.

Hello, I started animating not long ago, something seems to work out, but the problem is that, from the beginning, I started animating with stickmen, and now I can’t draw a good frame-by-frame animation, I don’t use the stickmen before that, like a karkaz, on which I sculpt normal shapes , and what should I do to continue drawing stickmen, and attach already realistic forms to them, or try to draw more real shapes from the beginning? This is now the biggest problem for me ((I will be glad for any answer.😅
