Dear Aleah. I just wanted to let you know that I listened to this so much, and on a regular basis that I know it by heart now. I wish you the best life has to offer for the beauty of the 26-letter combinations that you make.

i listen to this everyday, and i think of her, i think of the many times i wrote poetry, poetry that sucked just to hurt her, just to see if she could feel, just to make her suffer with my words as she suffocated me with her silence, to make myself look good... maybe i'm wrong but love makes us all crazy, and this poem kills me every time i listen to it, but i can never not listen to this

Your voice is really good for poetry, the way you use tone and pacing it's really great. it's funny how much it reminds me of keaton henson, too. For a second, before I read the description, I thought this was by him. Really, really, really good poetry!

Please dont say "im sorry,i write poems" anymore.. U have a gift, to handle in such deep, emotional way the words, and i feel like im "honored" to have listened this poem because u decided to share it with all of us "strangers" :D on a open space like this...i think not everybody would have done that, i mean, share in public ur poems i think it means like standing naked, expose ur deepest emotions u expressed through that words, so u are a brave soul, by my "weird"? ;D point of view!! I loved also the choice of the music, keaton henson is another delicate, sensible soul, just like you! :)

hi hello thanks so much for the comment and for the love. i do still write a lot, but I've been doing a lot of live performances more than video work. that should change soon. also idk if any of you have seen the short film adapted from this poem but you should check it out. it's by Ruckus Apparel and it's called insult to space.

This is a the most beautiful poem, I was looking for you on google because I was convinced you must of had a book. You don't. I would seriously consider publishing one.

I've actually been compiling for some time and my hope is to eventually publish, but as I'm sure most people know, it's really difficult to find publishers willing to invest in an 18 year-old. haha. Thank you so much for the support though, and I will keep everyone updated if anything cool happens in the department of publishing.

That's a really good suggestion. I have a blog -> thedrivebypoet.tumblr.com I'll write it up and put it on there in my "full pieces" page

This is stunning... I just feel this should have a video with a story. Anyway you inspired me to write more and more. What sort of poetry do you read?

Thanks. i think it would be ideal to actually shoot videos for my poetry, but I'm a pretty crap film maker. :) I'll work on it though. Thanks again for the feedback.

It's "Petrichor" by Keaton Henson. He is truly an amazing artist, I recommend everyone do some digging and check out his stuff.
