That's really cool -- a straight Broadway style performance without any of the operatic affectationsns, both vocal and emotional, that make Les Mis a bit of a chore to me, subjectively. I love the two big ballads as songs (saw Aretha do I Dreamed a Dream live once) but not as much enamored of the Les Mis style. This song, as performed here, could be from anything from Guys and Dolls to Grease and is more touching for it. I dig it. Thank you.
