At the 1986 MTV Video Music Awards, the video for "Take On Me" won six awards-Best New Artist in a Video, Best Concept Video, Most Experimental Video, Best Direction, Best Special Effects, and Viewer's Choice-and was nominated for two others, Best Group Video and Video of the Year. The legend of music video of all time! The first “take on me” video that I watched on tv was a different version though as I remember on the video a-ha seems like doing a concert Morten sings of course, Pal is playing keyboards and Magne is on drums with some bird feathers in his hair and black and white with combination of rotoscoped animation as well and I never ever watched this version again! Am I dreaming of with my own version of TOM?

A história dessa música é foda, a primeira versão do Take on Me foi um fracasso, mas os caras acreditaram e insistiram várias vezes, encontraram as pessoas certas e relançaram a música que a gente conhece e ama
