Enjoyed your video as a Plane hater.I felt nervous just watching from home. Flown 44 times but only 2 return journeys to Portugal and Tenerife since 1988,31 years ago. Hope you loved the Outer London Suburbs open spaces , long may they stay that way , my friend, I had 29 wonderful years living 3 miles from Central and The City Of London Southside but just moved 11 miles to The Outer London/Kent Suburbs in 1983 and it has been a fantastic further 36 years.We have an 188 acre park just 50 yards away and so many Public fields/woods/meadows/parks it is untrue and yet 1/2 mile from a South East London postal code.

I enjoyed watching that. Gosh, I'd forgotten how many planes there are at Heathrow and how busy they are. It's amazing!

Meaning, the London suburbs keep going and going. Same old crap that happens in the US.

I can see my house. This flight path at 11:05 is always 3100 ft and 300mph. Sad I know but we have lots of these everyday going over my house. It's great to be able to see it from the other side. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you very much, Haider, for posting this beautifully clear and enjoyable video. I hadn't realised how smooth, quiet, and (still !) modern, the B777 is: - I assumed at first that it was probably a B787 Dreamliner or A350 XWB. All being well, I am travelling on a B777(-300) for the first time in 3 months time.

A view I’ve missed

God the windows are clear!

Wasn't really London saw a great view of slough. If there ever was a great view if slough.

That flooded area just west of LHR was too big a job to drain, so they just built banks round it and turned it into reservoirs to supply London. It's also the area where Magna Carta was signed; chosen because it was midway between the opposing forces and it was impossible for a battle to break out, as it was too marshy.

London is so damn beautiful it is un-real. Such a thriving city and it does look so lonely yet so wild from above. I saw it from night :) I am hopefully hitting Bolivia/Amazon in La Paz either this winter or within the 2018/19 winter (super nervous) ultra excited :) i'll take pics of Bolivia so goegeous from what I have been seeing.

Saif Khan London is fabulous. One of the greatest cities in the world. You can’t compare a city like London to Switzerland which is more rural and mountainous. However the UK has some beautiful countryside. You need to travel more!

No view of the City, West End or Thames. Does show how large the green spaces are in the outer London boroughs.

I disagree..I've simultaneously seen Montreal from Ottawa, 140 miles between their downtowns..this stalled climb merely passed over satellite towns 👎

Next time you fly to Heathrow take your video on the inbound flight not on take off,, the planes often fly low over London Town to land, then you will see the river Thames .. tower bridge..the London Eye and many other famous landmarks, otherwise the quality is good !

Kristiana Wilson Heathrow is about the third busiest airport in the world. New Zealand is probably way way down the list. That is why there is usually always planes waiting to take off. It’s the same at Chicago o’hare airport.

In the other Video, though I get to see River Thames, I cant see Buckimham Palace. Also Clouds are blocking the view..In this Video thogh its HD the flight is heading away from the city i suppose..

It took off to the west, did a 180 degree turn, and came back past the airport, from then on it looked like it flew over the south London commuter towns, somewhere near Kingston and Epsom. It wasn't London itself, far too much countryside.

I agree with editing out the the wait until takeoff. And, please don't bob the camera, it is very disconcerting. Edit, edit, edit.

Did you see all those Hi Vis clouds? Well, if they hadn’t been there you might have seen London, but London is NOT visible from this plane ride . . .

How do you keep the camera so still
