This channel is by far the best channel for learning this stuff. For people who are new to these types of drones, it is not only a little daunting but also can be frustrating and off-putting. The reason it can be off-putting is mainly down to other channels, forums and similar groups being hostile towards people who are just starting out. Here, newcomers are always considered in addition to more seasoned flyers. Thank you.

New to the Drone world. Been a few months now and my first drone was the Zino pro. But I saw a guy freestyle flying a 5 inch and fell in love. He recommended me to start with this one and judging by this review and the comments, he didn't steer me wrong. Thanks guys, for the info. My tinyhawk comes tomorrow, and I can't wait. It was recommended that I do a simulator so I guess I'll try that before flying this one even tho I fly my zino all the time. FPV is a totally different beast from what I hear.

Just finished a Geprc Phantom frame build w/ iflight sauccx f4 16x16 aio stack today!!! I said to myself, this is how the Freestyle should have been. Can’t wait to see what emax does..... took a nap...... boom new quad. I freakn love emax.

absolutely love my first gen freestyle, was my first quad after the mobula 7. Nearly cried when the FC bricked itself but a reflash had me flying again :)

the first freestyle just has this awesome flow feel to it no idea what it is just so smooth

Great video, Drone Camps! Camera popped off my freeestyle 1 before first flight… sent to Emax for warranty…..they sent me back the TINYHAWK 2 brand new! Great video. First person I came to when I got this new quad.

Tysm for the good review! Cuz most drones aren’t very good and don’t have reviews, so this helped me pick my first FPV drone! And turns out I’m good at flying drones! I’m also learning to fly acro mode! I will suggest this drone to everyone!

love this drone, i put a rush tank vtx in it, and a diff receiver being 8channel out of the box.. 9/10 for sure!

I'm still waiting to see what emax builds with those 3.5" props they released recently. They actually leaked them when they put out their 1408 thrust numbers.

Cool video, made me think it's the Oregon version of "Bardwell's house" :) Really liking the proximity flying and the range of this one!

Hi Justin, I finally started flying my THFS it surprises me how quiet it was. it is a great flyer, now for me to fly more than crash, lol. I also need to resaulder my camera plug to the FC so it is LOS for now. Great review on the THFSII it looks like a successor to my current qwad. Happy flying, and *LTRIP!™*

Had mine for two weeks now wires connected at the motor have no reinforcement and broke on both front motors from a gentle grass “landing” 2.5 mm of shrink tube isnt enough for that angel hair wire on them motors Emax. Highly recommend putting your own reinforcement their before you even fly it. And using three hole layout for the motor mounts doesnt allow you to swap in another motor easily either without drilling. But it flys great and i was very much enjoying it..

Could you possibly do a video about upgrading the antenna on this to a micro axii and also upgrading the battery connector to xt30? I'm sure I can attempt those myself but I am new to the hobby and a step by step would be nice.

i just ordered a tinyhawk 3 rtf kit, and im rhinking of grabbing one of these once i have gotten the hang of it because ill be able to use the 1s batteries i brought for it. once i get the hang of this one ill think about upgrading my controller and goggles and get something like the crux35

So I have flown some small quads before, but for my first FPV drone should I get this or the racer 2? And should I go for the full pack with goggles and controller or should I try to find a good cheap pair separately?

can you set up Reversed Motor Direction on the Tiny Hawk Freestyle 2? i mean i know you can swap any 2 motor wires on each motor, and setting it up in betaflight, but i am waiting for my in the mail now. wanted to know if there is a way to do it software based as i relly dont wanna tinker with it out the box thx!!!

Hey! Did you zip tie the rx antenna to the standoff at the back? Or do you just let it dangle like it comes from the box? Have zip tied mine now, but startet to wonder if thats a good idea or i just should let it be like it comes originally? Thanks in advance!

Hey bud another question..can I bind this to Taranix x9 lite? I bound the regular THFS but want this newer one but have an x9 lite. Please let me know....I know a lot of poeps that are using that radio...If not what radio do you recommend a regular Taranis x9?

just bought this! I'm new to FPV...but not new to drones. i will eventually upgrade here and there, get an Insta 360. Also...could you eventually put the O3 air unit on it?

Hey other than the avan rush props what else could I put on this? I wanted to try different props so I can have different colors I bought these 2.5inch props that were different colors but they didn't even fit

did you unlock the VTX to get the 200 mL Watts they said it would show 200 milliwatts even if you said it in your goggles but wouldn't truly be unless it's unlocked

Im new to this, Ive got Walkera Devo 10 with deviation and 3 in 1 protocol, will I be able to bind this to it?

If I put a same type of battery but 2S lipo would it give the quad a little punch?

Ok, so i followed the procedure for "unlocking" the 200mw on the vtx and when i run get vtx in CLI it says the available values are 0-7 and it's currently set at 3. When i try to set it higher than 3, it defaults back to vtx_power = 0. How can i verify it's outputting 200mw?

Is the video glitch normal in small non general consumer drones? I am looking for a beginner drone and obviously the DJI is way out there prices wise. Eachine just doesn’t sit well with my research. Also I am going to go out on a limb and ask what controller would I need to go with this unit?

If i bind the freestyle to the remote can i unbind and bind the race version? And can i switch off between the 2 drones with the one remote or how hard will it be to switch off , I’ve never used betaflight either so i think I’m screwed

hey DRONECAMPS I need some help!!!!! I'M NEW TO FVP AND HAVE BOUGHT THE TINYHAWK FREESTYLE 2 AFTER SEEING YOUR REVIEW. I've reset the whole thing on betaflight i got betaflight 10.6.0 as i have been advised thats the one i need to flash my THF2. I am that new I dont understand anything about betaflight. Can u please do a video with a step by step guide on how to get it up and flying again i'm having real trouble. I would like it back to out of the box settings again as I have only flown it for 1 day, Im GUTTED!!!! THANKS IN ADVANCE IF U GOT TIME TO HELP......

I seen a few of the other ones that have that switch ontop to switch to acrobats. I just want to do freestyle and flips and all that right out of the box without needing bets flight. So do I need beta flight to do this stuff?

Thanks for this review! I currently have the Tinyhawk II Whoop and LOVE it for indoors and calm outdoors but my son and I are looking for the next something with a little more "kick." Probably time to just buckle down and by a Frsky transmitter? Seems like that's what all these are defaulted too (or more easier to find). I'm Spektrum (started with airplanes). Stay safe and happy flying! EDIT: Just got it in and holy CRAP it has power!!! Question: The throttle seems TOO sensitive on the low end. What's the best tune to smooth that out? Get rid of Expo? Any other Betaflight adjustments?

PBoogerwood if you have to get the a FrSk radio, get the RadioMaster TX16 if you’re not already looking at that. You’ll still be able to fly your Spektrum gear as well as anything else you decide to get in the future.

Can it be used with a emax ezpilot receiver? Or control?

How do you get the footage that the camera sees how do you record on this drone

Can I use Eachine EV800D and RadioMaster TX12 with Tinyhawk II

How does this compare to the babyhawk r pro 2.5 inch?

I just found your channel with 0 knowledge of FPV world, found it cause I just ordered this one as a Kit w. goggles etc.. I have about 60plus hours in the air with my DJIs (phantom 4 and a mavic air) ...But this looks to much fun to pass up...thank you for all the info you provide.

Ok Im plunging in getting this to learn acro on. I have the emax tinyhawk s but its too easy to lose outside and I have a small house. Seems this is the nice balance to learn on.

Gary Van Ausdle I agree but with the beeper it’s easier to find :) do you maybe have any ideas to make it easier to take off/land in grass? It’s kinda annoying that the motors are on the bottom so maybe I could build like a platform I don’t know
