who told you carnatic means Tamil? The word Carnatic refers to Carnatic music where Purandara dasa was the father of Carnatic music. It was first popularised during Krishnadevaraya period , and then the music slowly migrated to Andhra and Tamil Nadu.

All food is inspired from some other dish ... The whole curry came from india ... Also using spices also has Indian roots ... But still japanese curry is japanese ... Similarly it's not the inspiration but the new made dish ... Ime., biryani is Indian ... Bcoz it only had inspiration but not a fusion dish .... Every idea is inspired from somewhere else ... The original name is BELAGAWI or BALLIGAWI and Not Belagaon.The first Marati script(Devanagari) was found in Karnataka. Pls get your facts. Majority of the Maharashtra state was ruled by Karnataka based Kings. The proof is thousands of old Kannada inscriptions found in all over maharashtra.
