A note from Christoph:
I hopped on KZread Live a little earlier today to give a boost to the home team and to share the process of registering and playing this piece on The Great Organs at First Church.
Thanks Kaspar Abbo, Marc Doten, David Saldaña and Oliver Delgado for your ideas and help.

What fun! I met you many years ago at, I believe, an AGO event. I also remember you playing for an event in Pasadena on a 2-manual Allen. You made is sound good. It must be nice to have the two large organs and several smaller instruments at your disposal. I suspect that "Take Me out to the Ballgame" has seldom been played with such resources. Early ball parks found that piping a Hammond through the sound system worked. Now Dodger Stadium has a high-end digital instrument, perhaps a Roland, for its games. Incidentally, the trumpet "charge" call universally heard at ball parks, including Dodger Stadium, began with fans bringing trumpets to the L. A. Coliseum and playing the charge call used at USC football games, also played at the Coliseum. Thank you Christoph.

I love it when a big pipe organ gets good and loud.

Great fun! Enjoyed this so much. The choices you have with such a huge instrument would make me short circuit.
