He didn't. Once they got to adulthood their relationship was good, esp when he taught John to drive.

I'm enjoying this. Didn't know John went out on his wife. Sad. Didn't think he would do that.

Iam learning about John and Annie’s life in this but I must say it’s bringing up for me a foreign relationship I had and I couldn’t have him such is life cruel at times thanks for sharing this Story whoever is doing it 🙋‍♀️🇮🇪❤️

The husband. Is the leader of the home. He was called to tour his music and she should have gone with him. Would’ve eleviated a lot of problems

Keep in mind, this is a biopic, not real-life. Not only did they get the timeline and some of the songs out of order, but they also gave him a very different personality in this portrayal.

@@guineapiglady2841 That doesn’t mean it’s accurate. John’s brother got angry and his mother cried when they saw the way John was portrayed. He was a humanitarian and activist (even some of his songs are dedicated to what he believes in), but does this biopic show that? No! Also, when you watch all of John’s documentaries, interviews, and even the way the REAL Annie speaks of John, it’s vastly different than how the biopic portrays him. His children also regard John fondly. As someone who didn’t have a great father and is completely estranged from him, that isn’t something an adult child would be like regarding their father.
