Nice I was your Boros opponent and watch your channel, had an awful opening hand, but was excited when I saw I was playing you I told my wife “no way it’s swayze” lol I knew the go for the throat was coming. ;)

Ive seen control and aggro players do this same thing where they deliberately drag out their turns even when they dont have any actions. Its obnoxious. Cool deck Swayze, might give this a try.

Deep dive gonna be fun and honestly any content i cn open for my sunday or monday is good 😂

WotC out here posting about how they've addressed the algorithm because their number one goal is for players "to have fun" and not run into the same deck a million times. 😂

I have a Discard deck like this. Trust me, please try *Invasion of Eldraine* + *Painful Quandary* + *Bloodletter of Aclazotz* And let Aclazotz destroy the battles and bring the discard misery. 😈

Azorius Control match was hilarious. All that thinking and all their cards discarded over and over.

It's weird how they kept putting you against control opponents when they keep claiming how they've smoothed the algorithm. Either they're lying, or everyone's opting for control over all else, or they're lying. As the wise philosopher Meatloaf once said "two outta three ain't bad."

Side note the flipped battle with the bat god will come back to the field unless exiled.

i've played against meg78 running that same deck had the answer they needed for every play

Sadly slowplaying opponents Clock even kept up growing even tough he played slow as hell. They should reduce the timer

The wheel really did give a bad match up.

theres a really fun interaction with spellscorn coven i've been trying to get to work in Dimir, Lier, disciple of the drowned will let you flashback the adventure side of SC from your graveyard, and since it goes to exile as part of the spells resolution you can keep recasting the creature side as well for some discard. been running stuff like tarrians journal to sac it back to the GY but it can be pretty expensive to keep the cycle going. would love to hear your thoughts on how it could be optimized

That doesn't work. Creatures with Adventure are Creatures in all zones except the Stack - and even then they are still Creatures unless you are casting the Adventure. If you are able to use Lier in this way on Arena, it's a bug.

Did i play against you while testing? I was running a Mardu outlaw deck the other night and matched up against a mono black discard

Been looking for a deck to dunk on control, that whole azorius control meta kinda made me wanna stop playing for a while.

So here I am trying to craft this deck and a large part of the cards that I need are no longer legal. I can’t even search them.

It's crazy how salty control players get when they're not in control LMAO. That's why they are worse than mono red players, with mono red at least the games are fast.

This is why I don't mind mono red. Spend 2-5mins in gan Vs 15-20 to be handed the same loss. Also mono red not on the play is more bearable than control not on the play
