I would love to have a baby squirrel monkey.

I’ve really been praying about getting one of these beautiful babies!!! I have the perfect lifestyle for it my whole family we are always home and don’t go anywhere this baby couldn’t come with us.. I’m actually going to get mine certified as an emotional support companion as well! But I’ve been looking around for places to get one and I’m just so confused where to go! Who to trust!

See this issue is the people that have these babies in social media will never tell you where they got them from bc they don’t believe in promoting it bc everybody won’t make a good monkey parent! I respect that! But the issue for those that would is that it’s hard to find someone you feel is reliable and that actually take care of these babies and their parents before we get them! They they want deposits before the baby’s are even born and before u can even go to the facility to check everything out it’s like I want to make sure I’m not getting my baby from something equivalent to a puppy mill! I want to make sure that everything they are guaranteeing to me is accurate and actually happening. I know these babies aren’t cars but as an example I’m not gonna by a car off Facebook online without seeing it in person first , checking it out, driving it, making sure everything is running properly.. like I’m not doing that so I’m damn sure not doing that when it comes to my baby’s

It is cruel to own any primate. You are not a good person regardless of your intentions which are entirely selfish. Not only are primates wild they are not domesticated in anyway you plan to employ it as a emotional support animals for yourself? Right because that is the right thing to do to a wild animal.

Sorry to say it but you cannot get a primate certified as an emotional support animal (matter of fact there is no certification for any animal for being an ESA!)

What are you talking about?? That could not be further from the truth!! The behaviors this baby is displaying is nothing but affection and excitement and trust in them! What could you have possibly seen that made you come to that conclusion?? I take it you have not been around too many baby squirrel monkeys?
