Just gained a new subscriber. This was super informative. I am getting my first real camera in a bit (R50) and this explains everything super simply but makes it entertaining and easy to remember too. I love the style of your video and how you cut everything down to its most basic and important aspect. Will be rewatching for sure but very good content!

Thanks for this! I'd love a manual mode lesson, as well as the rule of thirds and golden ratio. Some R50 videography tips would be killer too! Thank you for always keeping it real with the information, but in an easy to grasp and with a sense of humor too. You are the BEST!

how about RF 50mm 1.8? is that good?

When using my new R50 camera for videos, I will need a dummy battery with a power brick. The one I got doesn't work. The connecting pins are too far in the housing and don't reach the electrical pins in the camera. Do you have any better experience with one? Is there one the you would suggest? Thanks.

Would you recommend r50 or r10 for product reviews( I will use for my business )the budget difference is not that important ?

I will like get my gear ready for my full frame Camara whenever I decide to upgrade. Can you help us with some recommendations on what lens besides the rf lens we should get? Thank you.

If you stay with Canon, like an R8 or R6 II then RF lenses are fine. If you plan on going with the Lumix S5 II then invest in Ef and EF- S lenses because you'll be able to adapt them to the S5 II

Fulan, could you do a video on how to get the best video quality with an R50.

The lightroom profiles and the luts work with luminar neo. If you use a full frame lens it will be fine just keep in mind that the real focal length will be 1.6x

Thanks! The 90d is a good camera. The R50 is considerably smaller and has less buttons and dials for photography. Personally I wouldn't switch it out unless I was going for an R7 or R8.

Whats a good budget lens you recommend for my canon m50 to have bokeh and more cinematic look overall. I know you have talked about the sigma 18-35 and the nifty fifty in other vids but are there other budget lens good for shallow depth of field and cinematic looks? Just wanted to know if there are others lens you liked that are cheaper and still good.

If we are talking about native lenses the 22mm f2 is good. Viltrox makes a 23 mm f1.8 that is also very good.

Yes. That and the Sony ZVE10 are two very good options.

I agree, no reason to use the creative mode, i gave it a shot, no bueno.

Yes, i think there are some by viltrox for about $40 although I prefer the Meike EFT-R because it gives you a built in variable ND

The a6400 is a bit dated. The R50 is much better. If I was going to go with Sony I'd go for the ZVE-10

The camera in the B-roll of the video is the R10. The operation is the same as the R50 though
