This video brings back a lot of old memories when I was a student at SEMO back in the late 50's. When I was a freshman in 1957, I took a janitors job to earn some extra money. After going around the building doing my job, I would go to different places of the building where the public or students didn't have access. One of those spots was the dome. As is mentioned in the video, you had to go through a janitor's door on the top floor and work your was up a bunch of squeaky, unsteady wood stairs. The highlight of the climb was going to the round windows around the dome. My favorite was the western side. The view from there was amazing. Particularly in the late afternoon when the sun set. My parents gave me a small camera for my birthday, so I would take it with me and take a number of shots for all directions of the dome windows. It was a wonderful experience going to SEMO. I'll never forget it.
