My church is over 200 years old and it is there as well. Never thought I would see this happening. My family doesn’t seem to mind. Now I’m the outcast in my family. It has been very tough but I know the Lord will see me and anyone else through this persecution. Prayer s for our nation and the world to see Gods truth and know it to be true.

I like what pastor Mark has said in the past about this. “I’ve had life without Christ, and life with Christ- it’s better with Christ.” So true! I just read the verse the other day talking about those who lose their life for His sake will find it (Matthew 6:25). It’s not for the faint of heart but so much better. This is not our home. I have to remind myself of that all the time.

@A_Pie323 The world reminds me that I don't belong every day. I love to read about the apostle Paul and how he endured until the end. All I can think of is seeing Jesus one day in heaven. Stay strong in Christ! 2 Tim 4:7-8 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. From now on there is reserved for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will give me on that day, and not only to me but also to all who have longed for his appearing.

I went through a divorce and my church handled it in a social justice way and put loads of pressure on me that I was a violent angry man that needs to go to family violence training. I'm not saying I'm an angel but it wasn't redemptive they (one pastor really) were trying to break me. I left the church, I didnt want to but the pastor said I can't lead my small group anymore and policy is any history of family violence means you can't be a minister... like ever. Also at the same time a spiritual hero of mine got cancer and died. I have intrusive thoughts that say I should end it or get back into addiction. It's obviously spiritual oppression and I've been fighting it and asking God to help. I told the only older Christian friend I have left who said I'll pray for you, got 90% better within a week. 3 things I've found helps - find something constructive to do - tell and ask trusted Christians to pray for you - do not under any circumstances give in to the thoughts and do what they are suggesting.

Question: I’ve had family that say they believe and pray and whatnot. I’ve only recently realized there was a reason I never felt right in the Mormon church. Those family members (before I’ve started to read and listen to sermons and the Bible on audio book.) they would call me the faracies and use the Bible against me and things I’d never heard of. Can I forgive these people and my “parents” for things they’ve done and be in the right not speaking to them or interacting with them afterwards?

Be scared of sin, of your very body, of other "unsaved" people that you share this ride around the sun with, and be scared of the VIOLENCE of the end time. God gets to wreck his enemies, but tells YOU to pray for yours and do good to them.
