I've made a couple hundred of these, I'm a mold maker so I made a make and female mold cast them in cement and small colored stones to the top edge and people love them. A garden accessories store near me orders them now.

Im Allgemeinen wurde dieses Produkt als Biokamin für den Garten konzipiert, einfach um das Feuer zu bewundern. Aber wahrscheinlich kann man damit etwas kochen)) Nur in diesem Fall ist medizinischer Alkohol oder Flüssigkeit für Biokamine wahrscheinlich nicht geeignet, sie brennen nicht sehr lange, Sie müssen eine Art Öl oder Wachs mit Docht verwenden.

Thanks, glad you liked it! They were the most common empty canning jars. The tin at the bottom was a coffee tin and the top was a tin from canned fish. I put the bottom can just as a base so the top can would be higher and the fire would go up better. This product was designed as a bio fireplace for the garden, just to admire the fire. On such a fireplace, it is unlikely to be possible to cook anything substantial from scratch (in a pot or in a jar), but heating food in a tin can by placing it on top of the stones is quite possible. And you may well have time to fry a marshmallow or even a sausage on a wooden stick before the liquid burns out)))

Don't use cheap galvanized screening ... when heated it gives off toxic fumes. And though the fumes diminish in time, why take the chance. Use stainless steel screen instead. For the small piece that is required, why not?

We cannot know and verify all the information about whether a material is dangerous or not. And even if your information is correct, I don't think there would be any tangible danger to the body when heating such a mesh in an open area (garden, terrace).

At my last job I had to teach adults of all ages how to seal their envelopes, poly-packages & boxes for either the post or courier service. Unreal. По-перше, слово «крутий» уже як сто років в обід має й інші сучасні значення, на кшталт «чудовий, особливий, видатний» тощо, а не тільки словникові визначення. По-друге, у чому тут особлива небезпека виробу? Це садовий біокамін, він призначений насамперед для милування вогнем у саду або на терасі, а не в приміщенні. За такою логікою і використання звичайних свічок у будинку - небезпечно. І крім естетичної функції, у такого біокаміна можуть бути і практивні. На ньому без проблем можна підсмажити маршмелоу або сосиску на дерев'яній шпажці. Що дуже актуально під час відпочинку на своїй ділянці.
