Wow, how absolutely incredible is George Strait's home? This is his San Antonio Estate and is amazing!
George Strait is selling his beautiful custom-designed estate in San Antonio - and it's literally one of a kind.
The San Antonio News-Express reports that Strait has listed his 7,925-square-foot castle-like residence in San Antonio's exclusive the Dominion area. Tamara Strait with Strait Luxury/Kuper Sotheby's International Realty is the listing agent.
Local tax and property records listed Strait as the owner of the home until 2007, when it was transferred into the ownership of Southbound Trust. Records show Strait and his wife Norma as co-trustees of Southbound Trust.
Realtor.com reports that Strait is asking $8.9 million for the luxurious property. According to the listing with Strait Luxury, the privately-gated custom adobe estate was designed by renowned architect Bill Tull from Arizona. The main residence features three bedrooms, four full bathrooms and two half-baths. Each bedroom features an en-suite bathroom and separate fireplace. There's also an infinity pool/spa and a sports court, a work out room with a private bathroom and sauna, and a walk-in safe room.
The property also boasts a gourmet kitchen, separate his and her bathrooms and closets and 14 hand-sculpted masonry fireplaces. There is surround sound throughout the main house, and it features outdoor living spaces including a patio with built-in grill, sink, icemaker and refrigerator.

I just read he lowered the price by $600,000. It's a beautiful home, but I guess some buyers don't go for the New Mexico adobe style. I attended high school with George and his brother Buddy. His father, Mr. J. Strait was my science teacher, a very nice man. George used to go and play pool at my brother's billiard place The Rock House in Pearsall. So very happy for all his success. Good taste, that's for sure. Everything is spectacular, just as the couple are. Love everything about the couple & of course, loves George strait's music, he's one of my favorite singer. X0x

I always wonder why wealthy people would sell ANY real estate. Is it a tax thing I simply don't know about? Love to hear from those in the know like accountants, tax professionals, etc...

My thoughts (not qualified in any way) are that they might just be downsizing and putting money to another asset. They might put the money from the sale into a trust for kids/grandkids.

They said he's selling it on another channel to move further in the country. But also think this is George Strait I've listened to him all my life and I know he's probably on a huge ranch somewhere. Love George music. One day I'm gonna go take my granny from Texas to go see you in Vegas. ❤️

This home is beautiful ! George Strait worked hard for this , so I am happy he built what he wanted and I love the crosses . He is a very Christian man , let’s not forget these things . He gives to many charities and other things thst many don’t know about . With that all being said , He is Our King Of Country Music !! ❤❤❤ May God always bless him and all his family . 🙏❤️✝️
