Seeing cute clips with Vinyl and Octavia NEVER get old. The voice acting is spot-on, the scene itself is adorable, logical and funny, and the ending is so cute! Trixie is very impressed. Playing a violin myself, I always wondered if anyone would take advantage of the fact that bows are made out of horsehair. I'm glad to see someone did. So, yes, very lovely work~

Congrats on using your own puppets guys. The style is unique and well done.

and so Octavia set aside the bow "dub string" and only used it in colab duets with vinyl. Aaaaaand occasionally to save equestria from certain "problems" that the main 6 couldn't defeat on their own. Octavia now chooses her horse hairs carefully so this doesn't happen again accidentally

i like the fuzz on their chests and ears. that make's your art style special and different from others.

9 years later and this video still makes me smile!

Octavia's voice was way too quiet. I could barely hear her. Remember that good audio mixing goes a long way. Spending an extra hour or two to make the voices have a consistent volume is always worth it. (There's a ton of ways to raise audio levels, like Audacity) Other than that, the concept was great, and I love your pony walk cycles :) Also, the word play in the title made me smile. Stay awesome!

Pretty cute. The horse hair gag made me laugh, and Tavi calling out Vinyl for not using her horn to get the glasses.

This is radical because it looks so cannon and at the same time it's just so... so freaken awesome. The idea of Vinyl's hair being imbued with her most prominent trait, a deep affinity for music, specifically dub-step and then having it pass on through the cello and amplified is just a splendid concept in every way. This seems like a concept that can be applied to a lot characters and stories if they give each other something with potent traits that can be passed on to the receiver, it just opens the door for an enormous combination of concepts... I might have read to much into this but, I still think it's totally wicked >:)

PON3, the only mare to force a classical cello into the wubdom

My favorite part is when Tavi asks if Vinyl's okay, despite all the damage and shock of her new bow. Really shows how close they are and how much she cares for her ^_^

At 3:33, I thought Vinyl's irises disappeared, but she actually just closed her eyes...

Hmm, I'm a violinist and I've never heard of someone using gut for the bow. Older string instruments do have strings made out of gut however, and of course glue is made from horse hooves, so I guess it's a good thing that Vinyl didn't do any damage to the Cello itself :p

To my knowledge (violin) A lot bows are made of horsehair; the strings on older instruments, however, were made of intestine.
