I've had my vr80 for just about a yr & I absolutely love it! It is definitely fun to shoot, I get random people coming up to me & asking what caliber is the AR! I just smile then say it's a shot gun & their eyes just pop out of their heads in shock. 😱 🤣🤣

It does like the higher loads, but there is an easy way to fix it for small loads. Leave the bolt in the back position for a month (or shoot 200+ rounds through it). This will lighten the very tight spring enough to stop the jams. Also, watch your mags. They tend to drag on the bolt at times causing problems. Suggestion is to file the top edge of the mag where the bolt comes in.

I’ve seen a VR80 modification where you can up the size of the gas holes. I believe they’re .105” from the factory. They can be slightly enlarged to either .012” or even to .016” to ensure proper cycling of the action with softer loads. Just an idea if you haven’t looked into it.

You need to pull the cocking handle back and lock in place for at least couple of weeks to loosen the recoil spring. Keep it locked in place. Should help with jamming issues. Or you can fire 200 to 300 rounds to break it in which is more expensive. Also disassemble clean and lubes it out of the box.

I run the VR 60 in 3 gun open class. It is a phenomenal and reliable gun that will run target loads all day. The 9 and 19 rounders rock, just keep them free of sand...

Most Definitely man card required!! Thanks for the Video my friend. At times it look like you were riding a wild stallion, that thing has a little bit of kick to it. I have to give you credit you stayed on that horse and showed the rest of us how it is done. Cops are the same way in training...... someone has to take the lead. Much Respect, Beretta Sr. 🥳🇺🇸

You can see with the lighter loads (red shells 19 rd mag) the ejection was very soft and short. Definitely requires hotter loads in factory tune.
