To handle a heavy sword sharply, it is important that the sword does not move your hand. If you grasp the end, you will be disturbed by the movement of the sword. However, the width of both hands may increase the distance between both hands depending on the trajectory of the sword. It is important to take advantage of strength, speed and operability.
Hello! Do you think we can use an unsharpened katana as a replacement for an iaito for training, in order to get a real sense of a sword like ancient samurai?
