Karate is the strong desire to be a statue, it focuses on statue like rigid movements and a desire to become hard like stone. The 16 dan of karate is to fight without moving like a real statue where anybody hitting you, gets hurt by your stone body. This is the truth about Karate, the art of the stone statue. I have respect for all martial arts including karate.

I would have watched the video until the end, but the white colored translation against his white gi made it hard to read. Of course my eyes are not what they once we're, nevertheless you may want to switch the color to something other than white.

Please don’t put white words against his white uniform- very hard to read. Please use a contrasting color

Then make your own modern combat sport style. Karate is what it is. No need to ruin it. By the way, that is not a "kimono" it is a "dohgi".

I was jumped by 8 robbers with knives and guns. It may have saved me. but I did not dare to fight back for fear of being shot. but the knives cut my head and face and biceps instead of jugulars and lungs and spleen or liver. I am 71 and Sensei Takara is 91. He tells me each time I train with him to use more power and then shows me how much more power he has than I do. He says ... "Koshi"
