I have heard atif in person, he sang a song without mic and any instrument and it sounded like he is singing on MIC it was so loud and with reverb. He really have a God gifted voice

That may be due to the fact that he has an extremely powerful pair of chords and that he has had a very natural belting ability which is hard to have. So he learnt how to throw his voice way earlier in career. Reverb gets created in his mouth and add an echo to it, u can sell it just like that.

Ahhhh my time to shine. So yes ur brother was very correct when he talked about Atif inventing a Vocal Belting Technique was 100% true. The reason he developed like that is because apart from having a God Given voice, Atif first heard his own voice in an echo. So what he learnt was not music but how sound works. Music he learnt later. Then (since he was just a middle class boy with not so into music parents) all he had was an untuned guitar with only three strings. He used to make the besure taar sound good. Later when he got his hands on a proper guitar, there was no stopping him. He could actually hv injured his throat permanently if he belted in the wrong way. But this kid just knew what to do what not to do. His instinct on how to shift resonance between his mouth and nasal cavity, gave him mastery over high notes, someone with his range(when he started out) shudnt hv had. And then the fact that Atif's major practice comes from the concerts he used to give(he still does but they are uk now professional) which often did not hv good enough mics or sound systems, as a teenager. The second place of his practice was an old unused boys washroom, which is actually where Woh Lamhe was composed. Bathrooms and concerts both are reverb driven, and thus given his "playground" of music that reverb is natural and special to him only. There is lots more i wud tell u but possibility is no one is gonna read this and my fingers are tired. But just so uk i cud write a 12 page essay on Atif's brilliant musicality based on my own basic understanding and study of music
