I worked on the Comm Games buildings in Delhi. At the time we tried to source stone for the stadiums at Yamuma ,Siri Fort ,Delhi uni grand stand & Thyagaraga. The Makrama marble quarry way deemed not suitable for these projects Granites from Bangalore were used at Siri Fort .with Red Delhi sandstone used extensivly externalliy in the Landscape at Siri Fort.

Sorry, the Taj Mahal was a Shiv Temple called Tejomahalaya belonging to the Rajput King Mann Singh. The progeny of the nomadic looters, plunderers from Central Asia ie Shahjehan usurped it and modified it into an Islamic structure. Hindu sacred symbols, a music room, the crescent moon of Lord Shiva and a coconut, are all part of Hindu temples. For your information, music is forbidden in Islam, so will the maker of this documentary tell me what a Music Room is doing in an Islamic tomb? The Music Room is part of Hindu Temples where musicians and bhajan singers carried out their art. Further, traveller accounts talk of Arabic scripts being inscribed on marble to put up on the walls of an already existing building, in an attempt to turn the Taj Mahal into an Islamic structure.

It’s actually a common misconception that music is banned in Islam! Some people interpret the Quran to say that, but most people agree that music is fine as long as its CONTENT is fine. There is nothing in the Quran banning music, as long as it’s not sexually motivating or explicit, music is fine.
