Hi~ I am a Taiwanese. I do not know what exactly did you hear, but I want to apologize if what you heard make you feel uncomfortable. 😓 I believe it was misunderstandings. I don't think the majority of Taiwanese people are racist to Indians. From my experiences of how everyone interact with the Indian classmate here in Taiwan when I was in college, I just do not feel people here are particularly racist towards Indians. However, I do think that most people in Taiwan do not understand India, because it is so large and complex when compared to Taiwan. Therefore people are afraid when the government announced that we are going to have 100 thousands new Indian workers in Taiwan. That is a big number to Taiwan because our total population is only 24 millions. People worried about security issues because they do not know from which part of India they are going to recruit the workers. People feared that the business owners might recruit the criminals from India because they are the cheapest and the most cost effective. We do not trust the business owners in Taiwan because they do not have good records. Also our police is useless when faced with foreign criminals, because Taiwan is not recognized by INTERPOL. However, I think the majority of Taiwanese understand that there are both good people and bad people in India. So I think it was miscommunication. Still I apologize if the way we spoke were overly simplifying and caused you to feel uncomfortable. 🙇

@@sbtrkt2056 actually I heard that when Taiwanese knows 1lakh indian worker can come to Taiwan..then they started recist comments on Indians and also started camping for not allowing Indian workers in Taiwan....then your government confirm that no Indian workers are coming to Taiwan This news also telecast in your news channel I let you know we all indians support Taiwan against chaines fake narrative about Taiwan....and we are not accepting one chaina policy
