Amazing work. I was watching a clip of Anthony Bourdain when he visited Taiwan just earlier today. You were at the same night market... RIP.

Wow another great episode! And don’t know how you filmed when biking down the hill! The place you mentioned “jiji?”, it actually sounds more like “gigi” in Taiwan. And the egg you ate, it is simmered with some soy sauce and tea, so it has good flavour.😆 Very glad you love visiting TW!

I am blushing! You're too kind :) I really wanted to show my appreciation for Taiwan.

J'ai fait le nord de l'île en scooter en avril dernier. Que de magnifiques paysages avec ces gens accueillants à chaque courbe. Tes deux reportages sont supers mais tu as oublié de parler du contraste du parfum des forêts et de l'air marin. C'est un pays à voir, à goûter et à sentir. Muaaaaaah Merci de m'avoir motivé d'y retourner en avril prochain :)

Et pourtant ta photo de profil est un guidon de vélo! À quand ton pédalage là-bas, tu pourrais y sentir les contrastes parfumés encore plus lentement ;)

@@jonathanbroy Oui mais à 72 ans on n'a plus le coeur et les jambes d'antan surtout qu'il y a deux ans je me suis fracturé la hanche dans une chute à vélo justement. L'été passé j'ai refait 2000 km mais sur le plat mais je me remets comme un jeune depuis qu'on m'a retiré le matériel chirurgical l'été passé, je ne bote même plus ;) Peut-être des balades sur les côtes taiwanaises, pas cerrtain de faire les cols de montagne comme toi. J'ai vu en route des cyclistes entre Taipei et Toucheng. A faire si tu as les jambes.... Costeau là aussi ! J'ai fait Cuba une couple de fois, c'est bien aussi :)

@jonathanbroy We live in the South Island so do short trips on our days off and holidays, is great cycling here once you are off the main roads! Heaps of stunning cycling tracks too.

I really loved these two videos ! You are incredible, my legs could never bike that much ! But I hope one day I will, because this trip is incredible and I want to do the same in the futur !

You just need a really big cassette and a tiny chainring at the front and you can climb walls!

Fall and Spring. Especially if you want to explore the mountains, it might be a bit cold during wintertime.
