TAINTED BLOOD directed by Matthew Patrick - Raquel Welch
Ойын-сауық
Thriller starring Raquel Welch about two young orphan women who are involved in murder. Also starring Joan Van Arc, Allie Mills, Kerri Green and Natasha Wagner.
"This neat little thriller directed by Matthew Patrick makes a valiant effort to conceal the killer's identity and keep the level of interest high as one revelation after another sets the pendulum swinging between suspects." CINEFANTASTIQUE

Boy, does this touch home! I was adopted at almost a year old.I remember vividly the abuse that I endured by my adoptive mother. Back in the 70's , abuse was not detected because everyone was supposed to mind their own business. Right! Unfortunately , I had thought about harming her various times in my teens. Obviously, I never acted out those thoughts , thank God!!! As painful as it may be , even now in my 50's , I totally understand how a child may reach that breaking point. At 19 , I moved out. I am glad that my natural brother found me in my early 30's and all of a sudden I felt whole again. I had the opportunity to meet my whole family. in the meantime, my adoptive father was a great man which I adored and miss dearly since he passed 5 yrs ago. My adoptive mother passed about 2 years ago. I realize that adopted children struggle their whole life and have challenges that other children can't even start to grasp. This is indeed an incredible movie.

Hi Dimitra. I just wanted to tell you that I understand you too well even though I haven't been adopted since I had tender father but my birth mother was very abusive toward me since I was a todler. I fantasied about running from home since I was 5, and in puberty I even had dark thoughts. The fisical abuse stopped only when I fought back for the first time when I was 17 and when she saw in my eyes I will not take it any more no mather what. I understood her and forgave her when I got to the age after 30yrs, age when she got me, and when I realized she had really serious psych problems she did not deal with... Maybe it is easier to forgive real parent, but trust me, I used to wish she was not my real mom and I was adopted.
@dimitrageorgiadi5087
3 жыл бұрын
@@draganandjelic5011 Thank you for your thoughtful message. You are absolutely right. An adoptive parent is different and forgiveness is different regarding those issues. When I was fifteen, she went to strike me again and I pushed her back and banged her against the wall. I saw fear in her eyes. Although, I was a skinny kid, barely 100 lbs and she was triple my size, it was definitely a Sampson and Goliath moment. That is when the physical abuse stopped. My case was a bit different, in that her mother, my grandmother adopted me and gave me to her. The reasoning was simple. A that time, my adoptive parents were going to divorce, so if they gave them a baby it would mend the marriage, which it never did. So the plot thickens. We migrated to the States and so on so forth. Nevertheless, I am grateful for my father and all that he did for me. I am grateful to be alive and back in my native country. All is good. Thank the Lord for everything I have and for what I don't have. There is a reason. God be with you always. Thank you.

Mrs Victor Agreed. The new ones are garbage. Wooden actresses more like department store mannequins who can't act, 99 cent scripts all on variations of the same theme, My psycho boyfriend/girlfriend/neighbor/teacher, etc. etc. PLUS they keep repeating these same episode pieces of shallow, cartoonish crap every weekend. I think the man who heads Lifetime is a misogynist who hates women and has a very shallow, limited, derogatory sense of what women viewers want to see. Whoever is in charge of the Lifetime network now is totally clueless and just running it into the ground. It must be on the verge of bankruptcy now because the weekend morning line-up is all televangelists, infomercials and weekday programming is all reruns of decades old series from other networks. Shame, because it used to be so good. Even if they would just run these older stories like this one, it would be watchable, even enjoyable again. Pathology can be highly genetic. However, most people want to believe it is prwdominantly due to poor parenting on the mother's part. I doubt there is a mother on earth who would know how to raise a child to be a happy, well-adjusted adult when there is severe pathology in her biological family - sometimes from generations back. Had a mental breakdown and killed herself. Sometimes reality is too much to deal with when you've spent your life in a fantasy....
Raquel was so beautiful. My husband knew her when teenager. His grlfrnd won Miss San Diego. Raquel lost but 4 of them all went out for pizza and rootbeer afterward. This was before all her plastic surgery. This was a very good movie. Surprise ending. Plot certainly seemed like viable theory.

so cool wish i could ask him out bout her :) rip
I am short of words . It's so gud . Loved it . One of the best lmn's
I can not imagine being at the funeral of my loved one, when some nosey stranger wanting to write a book had the nerve to show up and begin asking personal questions so they can make a few dollars .... On the other hand I can't fathom being the stranger to impose on someone's funeral.. So disrespectful!

The comment proves you are not understanding the moral of this movie - your naive morality is insulting not a writer searching for the cause of the effect
Great movie! I love Raquel Welch♡

Very good movie! Lots of suspens and a good twist
After watching this movie with its shocking ending I am sure lots of parents won’t want to be foster parents but just one fantastic movie and an eye opener that this can happen love the role played by Michelle pfifer
Better than expected. Good twists! Mental illnesses can be genetic and can be a difficult subject to deal with. Both girls had problems having lived in foster care but the result here wasn't the expected one.
Wow a film worth watching Certainly has a big twist story too it
Kerri Green (Tori) is just adorable! At first I thought she was Stephanie Zimbolist. The resemblance is remarkable.
Thanks for upload; it was (melodramatic) fun. SPOILERS BELOW so don't read the comments till you have watched the movie,
