It's important that a nonzero percentage of the TOR network be used for innocuous purposes (such as leaving 💩post replies to YT comments) or else legal defenses against evidence of TOR usage boil down to, "But you can't prove _which_ crime I committed."

I got a question I was hoping someone could answer. My friend installed windows 11 software on his school computer to bypass the restrictions, but unfortunately can’t google anything because the wifi firewall stops him. Is there any way for him to acces the school network, or is he genuinely screwed?
Fun fact, while using Tails you can pull the USB from the computer and the computer will automatically start the shutdown/clear ram process, meaning you can put the drive on a lanyard and just yank if you don't have the time to click through to the shutdown button

No requests for comments, likes, subscribes, etc. Just the information I wanted to teach and that's it. And people absolutely loved the channel. I went from 1 sub to 100k in about 3 weeks just because of the short form videos, and I was still making good money on it. I didn't care about ads or anything. More short form content! Love it.

Cold boot attacks, where the memory is frozen and then extracted are actually very uncommon for "normal" PCs, as the memory is getting worse basically every second after shutdown. @felixjohnson3874

Even upto DDR 3 can have 90% bit retention after 10 minutes without artificial cooling, (ddr4 has not been tested as far as I'm aware) and cold boot attacks literally don't work against running devices; the entire point is that you turn the device off, that is literally required by the very definition of being a cold boot attack. (Also cold boot has nothing to do with the temperature of the RAM; cooling it is common, but that is entirely incidental and not related to the name) Edit : (for reference DDR1-2 can last for hours or even weeks if cooled) properly)

This would also qualify as a cold boot attack.

true, cold boot attacks are less common for regular PCs due to the degradation of memory over time.
