Taiheiyo Ferry Ishikari Deluxe Japanese Room. Japan's longest route 40 hours Hokkaido → Nagoya
I boarded the Taiheiyo Ferry "Ishikari" which operates from Tomakomai West Port in Hokkaido to Nagoya Port in Aichi Prefecture.
Ishikari has a total length of approximately 200 meters, a total width of 27 meters, and a maximum speed of 26.50 knots.
This route takes approximately 40 hours, making it the longest ferry route in Japan. The cruising distance will be approximately 1,330km.
On the way, we stopped at Sendai Port and temporarily disembarked.
The ferry has facilities such as restaurants, public baths, massage machines, game corners, and shops, so you can enjoy it even for a long time.
The room I stayed in this time was a special Japanese-style room.
The view from the bow of the ship from the special Japanese-style room was wonderful, and the sight of the ship departing from port was especially worth seeing.
We also got to see some amazing views at sunrise and sunset on the ferry.
When the ship passed under the famous port Triton when entering Nagoya Port, I was surprised at how close the bridge was to the ship.

Welcome to our channel! Thank you for watching. The curry at the snack corner is called "Makanai Curry" and has a unique spice flavor that you can't get anywhere else. The stuffed animals are from "Sumikko Gurashi", a very popular character series in Japan, and we boarded the ship with "Penguin?" and "Shirokuma" from the series. I will do the reverse trip next month. I booked a similar room as it was the only room available! I will take a small folding camping chair for comfort, and also for use on the deck. Was WiFi still available on your trip? Sadly it is no longer available as the equipment became too old to maintain :-(

Thank you for your comment. As of January 2024, when this video was shot, onboard Wifi was available. When I boarded this ferry in June 2024, I learned that the onboard Wifi service would end at the end of May 2024.I hope you have a fun voyage!
