Taiga the Merlin: A small, but mighty member of the falcon family
On today's From the Forest, Raptor Care Specialist Kenneth White shares some interesting facts about Taiga, a female merlin (Falco columbarius). A merlin is a small species of falcon - a relative to the kestrel but slightly larger. Merlins hunt in pairs, have a double camouflage and are "nest hijackers." Watch this video to learn more about this small, but fierce member of the falcon family.

Hi Taiga, "I'm listening" to your majesty 😊.
