Was looking for tai chi to help ease my depression. Just found these vids and I want to thank you because they're easy to follow for a lay person like me, who's doing this for the first time. Still getting mixed up with the breath (out and in) but I expect I'll get it right with practice. Thank you very much, Leia!

I've learned more quickly off these lessons than I did off a tai chi practitioner in China. I like the laid back manner and practical attitude that it doesn't need to be perfect, just do it and feel better. By closely mimicking the movements of somebody who is obviously very proficient at it, the student should also, given time, be reasonably good too. If I follow this course closely enough, any Chinese person who sees me will hopefully think, Hey that foreigner knows tai chi. Not that looking cool is a good reason to do it, but a celebrity chef who impresses local people by acing their local cuisine, must feel quite good about it. A bit of an ego boost is also healthy for the mind so thanks on quite few different levels.

The words say "Simple Easy beginners" - my body disagrees. I really like your routines. It is helping reduce my lower back pain. I am really looking forward to doing all of your five minute modules. This is fun.

I joined a club for doing Tai Chi and was struggling with most of the movements and I became very frustrated. So I decided to learn it by myself at home and found your instructions Mrs Cohen. Still struggling with the double sparrow and some other movements but now I love doing it. When I've learned a module I exercice with relaxing Tai Chi music. Thanks so much Mrs Cohen!Annie, from Flanders-Belgium

annie ponsaerts if you practice my videos regularly you will train your body and create muscle memory then you can go back to the tai chi club and it will be easier. Good on you for memorising the moves and practicing by yourself that is a true tai chi practice

Rephrase that, don't use the word awful because it makes it harder for you to deal with the situation. How about trying times, or uncertain times, or unusual times, growing times...
