I lived in Tagbilaran some 6-7 years, moved to Gebu 2010. By gosh, I feel I miss it! I recognize quite a lot, but lots of new stuff too. Impressing sharp and stable shots! I like Philippines so much more than Thailand -- here, not so tourist-infected 😁 , lots of people speak some English, and you can drive on the right side of the road.

Thailand is developed not because of tourism but because of manufacturing, Bohol should focus on industrialization and manufacturing instead of tourism. Also we should not let Bohol be exploited by tourism like Thailand, that country is known for indecent activity, and has one of the highest rates of STD/HIV in the world. There is still no cure for HIV even to this day. We must preserve Bohol culture.

When I was in Tagbilaran they had operator control telephone system and very few telephones. Do they have cell phones today?

My heart was beating for Bohol until everything changed suddenly in 2016. Unfortunately, I had to experience the war on drug there. You can't just forget this experience. Yes it was nice - but at the same time very sad There are always two sides of the coin...
