They were probably just banished to the Dark Aether. There's a radio on Classified where Samuel is trying to contact Richtofen, and he mentions that it's dark where they are. We could get one more side map where Victis escapes the Dark Aether. I hope, anyway.

So the entire zombies multiverse gets just thanos snap with no good cgi cutscene

I think they should have let the Ultimus and Primus crew still be awake, and then Nikolai explain to them what must be done, they understand and begin to give out their last words, Zombie Richtofen doesn't like this and attempts to stop them after the first cutscene and replaces the boss fight, we get back in game as the Ultimus crew (besides Richtofen of course) and fight him or try to convince him to fulfill destiny, Primus then begins to work on the summoning keys destroyer, Richtofen successfully stops them, Primus fails, Ultimus successfully defeats Richtofen and finishes the device, Ultimus Prevails. Second cutscene plays

Honestly thought there was gonna be a Monty boss fight, just following a moving area the map seems like a bad way to end the story.

I can't believe it's already over 😭 RIP Zombies 😭 you were good to the community over the years and although the book is finally closed, the memories will forever be engraved in our hearts. All the time and dedication we put in to solving Eater Eggs, all the time we put into developing strategies. I will always cherish it until the end of time. I started in 2010 too, I grew up with these characters

At first I thought the cutscene was meh, but after watching it again I got its meaning and I now realize how good it really is

If anything is clear, its that Treyarch clearly wanted to focus on the Chaos story in bo4 but everyone whined like a child so they rushed together these two dlc maps so everyone would shut the hell up.

This isnt had to end like this but now it had ended i will the aether story line thanks treyarch

I see this as a crazy ending but if there’s a black ops five then we may get scarlet and Diego and those other guys because all we got was a crazy witch named Medusa that passed out scarlet and possessed the old guy and the sailor and Diego just saved scarlet so I feel like were getting someone else and or another story that will last to (if possible) another black ops and/or 10 more call of duty’s and just imagine call of duty black ops 100 that would be insane

They missed the best part. Without it, the ending is pretty much crap. Last bit was amazing. I will miss this story, its characters, its lore, me and my friends playing it...

For me, it seemed as if a huge war was going to break out and it was up to the crew to defeat dr.monty. But this ending made everything seem irrelevant and seems as a lazy way to cut straight to the ending with many pieces missing. No true boss fight and an underwhelming ending. You’d think that all the hype surrounding the past Aether maps would lead up to an epic, large battle, which would be the boss fight, and then finish with a sad, dark ending to close up the story line. Disappointing.

You know they really worked hard on this map.

This is honestly the most coolest and most epic step ever I loved every second of it esp when you finish to see the map as lava what a cool Easter egg

@@Tom-tx7vs no they won't. They are confirmed not to appear in the next games. Well they may appear in remastered maps but their storyline ends here. That light at the end of the darkness probably means reboot. But the aether storyline is over.

see, in the cutscene they show when all the 115 is dissappearing and all the multiverses are destroyed, they show Blood Of The Dead with zombies and it still looking like a very "live" earth/place. Yet in the BOTD ending cutscene we see it become a dead realm and everything greys out. What does thsi mean?

I can’t believe that’s it’s actually over😭😭 for me this was probably almost as sad as the blood of the dead Easter egg ending😢 I’m really going to miss this storyline, but my question is what’s the next story when they release bo5 next year?
