BarakAllahu feeki dear sister ❤ I understood what you meant with the ease that comes with hardship. It is that Allah swt always gives us a solution (in form of worship/ dua/ sunnan) that we can say do that indeed make things easier. When I heard the news of my mother passing last year I felt as if I would pass out. But saying „inna lillahi wa Inna ilayhi rajiun“ really did something inside me and gave me strength. SubhanAllah. I felt an immediate peace. Alhamdulillah for everything ❤ one of my sisters that said it also immediately felt the same. Allahu Akbar

Indeed our blessings are like an ocean that outweighs the singular hardships whose real weight are like feathers. It is only perception that we feel the weight intenisfy but yaqeen in Allah SWT lightens the burden to a small pebble. Like you mentioned, Allah SWT is soon generous that even the hardship we face comes with baraqah and reward from Allah. The physical extension may not be correct. Because there is no explanation for this in the Qur'an. It is clear that what is mentioned in the Qur'an is spiritual expansion. The prayer of the prophet Moses also shows this.
