Surrah Al ikhlas and Surrah Al Kawthar Allah made it special in muslims hearts. *TAFSEER SURRAH AL IKHLAS:* Qul(Say) here is a mechanism of emphasize; especially because they said who's your Lord? So they wanted a response so Allah (SWT) is saying this is the response so Qul is always to emphasize. You have both the "Qul" and the "Hwa" (which linguistically is unnecessary) used here and both of them are the mechanisms of emphasize indicating a very strong emphasis. As we said Qul is emphasizing on what ever comes next meaning what ever comes after the Qul is important must be emphasized pay attention to it, make it bold underlined and italicized.

Haha funny point he mentioned but at some time i used to recite Surah Al Asr and Al Kauther. As i think these are the shortest! Not Surah Ikhlaas. But alhumdulilah now i try learning other surahs so i can recite them in my salah

In the famous Hadith of Jibreel, the sahaba saw the Angel in human form.

Salaam! A question to Yasir Qadhi or anybody can clarify me; when we preforming wuduh in public places like workplace or malls specially lift up our feet to wash and you have footwear!! It’s dose not give non Muslim/other user a good impression, it leavers mess!! How do we overcome this issue please. Even it’s not related to this talk!

MrJasoor As far as I know, perhaps somebody else can correct me but washing the feet is an absolute must. If you need to make wudhu in a public place then you have to do it. Do not worry about others or the image it gives of Islam. Your wudhu is for Allah, and Islam belongs to Him alone, and therefore it’s image can not be tarnished by you doing what he commanded. The only way a Muslim can make Islam look bad is by not practicing the religion. If you make a mess, make it a point to clean after yourself. You can also make your life easier slightly by wearing leather socks, meaning you would only need to wipe over them once rather than lifting your feet into the sink to wash it. Allah knows best.

If you wear your socks while you had wudu all you need to do is wipe on top of your socks that is what I do. Allahu aclam please ask scholar.

Name of the surah comes from sahabah n tabiuun..a matter of ijtihad not by Allah revealation.only a few surah named by prophet muhammad. Can we rename it? No point of reinventing the classical wheel. This surah is the early makkan surah. One of the quraish asked who is this lord of yours? Jahil Quraish assigned Allah to banard - angels whom daughter of Allah. He asked is he food? Then Allah revealed surah al-ikhlas. 2 surah typical we choose for solat- al ikhlas and al.kauthar- short but each got wisdom. Special kabul for the 2 surah. Story of a sahabah who loves al ikhlas- made him to enter al jannah. Someone report to prophet that his neigbour only read al quran- prophet said al ikhlas is equivalent to one third of the quran. Meaning equivalent other in barakah or tawheed or profundity or benefit. The point is to emphasize a small surah with so much blessings. Sunnah- solt fajr n mahhrib, tawaf witir recite surah alikhlas. Kul and huwa; mechanism of emphasize. They asked who is lord? This is to emphasize. In classical arabic, a dozen mechanism to emphasize. Huwa makes you pay attention. Whats going on here? He is the lord. Allah: 10 opinions on the root word. Worthiness of worship. All attributes belong to him. Ahad: unique . wahid vs ahad? Alwahid is the one in his being or zat ( broader meaning), Ahad is His unique and attributes, none like unto him. Each of Allah is mentioned before them. Allah is Ahad. Allah is Samad. Samad? Being of no inner vaccum, a chieftain askd is your lord made of copper? Also assomad means the one who has perfect alleadership. Assomad means the one looks on to, whom you turn to . Heart turns to when time of distress. Categories name of Allah occur togethrr; intra + inter perfection (hayyul qayyyum, ahad somad , ahad (he is unique himself) somad ( blessings i.e his relationship.with his makhluk). 10 mutawwatir qiraat in advanced uni. Used to have more. Regional. In the qirat in makkah n syria.. ours is kufa. Lam yalid walam yulad. He is the first and last. Walamyakullahukufwan ahad: ahad , the subject was put at the end. The emphasize walam yakullahukufwan ahad- none is similar to him; negating ikhbartan nafi vs ahad affirmation. Summary: this surah explain about Allah, to appreciate and worship Allah.
